Grandparents again

Following on from my last post on 'Old Photographs' - these two turned up. True before and after pictures! This was our Grandparents house - a magical place with a huge workshop at the back, a railway embankment at the side, big pear and apple trees, wonderful paths you could chase eachother round and a gigantic, round fish pond. There were rabbit hutches, a bird bath where I saw my first dragonfly and; during the war, an underground air raid shelter.

Look what they've done to it!!!

Ho Hum. Times change.

About Me

My photo
I live happily in Surrey, having left the Scottish Borders to be with my partner, Pam. Being a Gemini I tend to flounder amongst so many interests and passions. Photography, drawing and painting, making music, writing and air guns. I entitled this blog 'Grumpings' simply because it would make a nice spot to have a good old moan about things. However, I hope there will be gentler comments too - a good balance between my grumpy and more reflective moods! And if you want to join in....feel free.
