So............Well, here we go. This is like the artist's nightmare of a pure white canvas - or the writers pristine blank page! Where do I start? This little painting is as good a place to kick off as any. It's by a wonderful modern impressionist I discovered quite by accident during a web browsing session - Peter Kuhfeld. No doubt a few more examples will crop up later on. Right now, the sun has gone down and the tall elms in the field outside are glowing greenish gold against an inky blue sky. Time to sit back, feet up...and plan what goes on here next..............

Hello fellow writer. I love the new blog.
I have Feels Like Home on my music list too and Eternal Flame. I have some prints which were bought for me, I will check, they might be Kuhfield's as they look similar. One of a woman in a garden reading and one of a child in a garden, wearing a sunhat.
Things that do it for me, that's a good idea. You have got me thinking now...

PS Either I have been asleep a long time or the date is wrong on your blog?
(Mine always has the wrong date in the posted section)
Hi Cait,
Only just picked up on my comments after getting your email! I'm still learning! Love the paintings by Paula Nightingale. Let me know if you have any Kuhfelds because I am amassing a collection on my computer. I have three coipies hanging in blue frames in my bathroom!
I rigged the dates on the first posts in order to keep them at the topp all the time. They will be superceded in 12 years time!
Love reading your posts.

Thanks for nice comments about my paintings...which I came across today...also from 'Caitlin'. Where do you see my paintings?
Best wishes from the artist Paula Nightingale
Hello, Paula.
Cait is my sister-in-law and it was she who introduced me to your work. What beautiful paintings! They remind me of my childhood days by the sea. Why not check Cait's site? Link is: https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=1259513454241506815&postID=2666248785034977003
Thank you so much...it really encourages me when I hear my work is liked...That was my first ever bloggy thing...I was amazed it worked! I will see if I can visit Caitlin's site and do it again!
Cheers
